Let all who seek You rejoice and be glad in You; let those who love Your salvation continually say, “God is great! ” Psalms 70:4

Psalm 70 is an all-out cry for help! The short Psalm ends with “I am afflicted and needy; hurry to me, God. You are my help and my deliverer; Lord , do not delay.” The Psalmist, David, clearly understood that salvation was impossible outside of God, so he asks God to rush to his assistance! Even in the midst of trouble, David’s core belief was that God, by nature was good and that He delights to help His children!

Consequently, David made this prayer, asking God to rescue him in his and his nation’s day of trouble! David encourages all those who seek God, to “rejoice, be glad and say that God is great” and he calls upon God to substantiate their claim!

Never hesitate to pray out of despiration or even frustration! God is good and wants to to prove His goodness to you. Call upon His Name-He’s big enough to answer and rescue you! Think about it!
