“Praise the Lord . Praise the name of the Lord ; praise him, you servants of the Lord , you who minister in the house of the Lord , in the courts of the house of our God. Praise the Lord , for the Lord is good; sing praise to his name, for that is pleasant. For the Lord has chosen Jacob to be his own, Israel to be his treasured possession. I know that the Lord is great, that our Lord is greater than all gods.”
Psalm 135:1‭-‬5

“Praise the Lord”! Ten times in Psalm 135, the worshippers at the temple, along with ourselves are told to praise the Lord. Everyone’s told to praise Him-from kings to servants, preists to laborers-all should go through their day praising the Lord! Every tribe, every nation and every people should praise the Lord! From those who minister in the temple or tabernacle to those who seldom darken its door-all should praise the Lord. Why? “For the Lord is good and praising Him is pleasent!” (Vs 3)

God is good, whether my circumstances are pleasent or not! God is good, whether I’m good or not! GOD IS GREAT AND DESERVES OUR PRAISE!
The psalmist then goes on a discourse about how God had chosen Israel and all the specific tribes of Israel to be His special treasure, much like Peter does in I Peter 2:9, “But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, Godʼs special possession, that you may declare the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His wonderful light.”

We are God’s specially chosen people and for we should praise Him!

“Our God is greater, our God is stronger, God, You are higher than any other” and because of Who You are, we praise You today, our Lord!

Think about it!
