“As Pharaoh drew near, the sons of Israel looked, and behold, the Egyptians were marching after them, and they became very frightened; so the sons of Israel cried out to the Lord .” Exodus 14:10

God, through Moses, had led the nation of Israel out of Egypt after Pharoah had FINALLY agreed to allow them to go. Only a few hours later they were penned againast the Red Sea with Pharoah’s army closing in on them-Pharoah had changed his mind! Some people complained about behind brought out to the desert to die, while others simply cried out to God for help! Of couse God heard them (He’d rescued them from Eygpt only a few hours before)! You know the rest of the story! As Pharoah’s army drew near God told Moses to stand by and watch God’s power and, oh yeah, raise your staff. The sea split in half and Pharoah’s army froze! The entire Israeli nation walked across the dried up sea bed while Pharoah and friends watched! The army decided to pursue and the ENTIRE army, along with Pharoah, its leader, was wiped out as the sea covered them! Read it in the Bible or in secular Egyptian historic accounts, the story is the same! God’s people, some of them complaining, CRIED OUT TO GOD!HE HEARD AND ANSWERED THEM! Think about it!
