“(John testified concerning Him and exclaimed, “This was the One of whom I said, ‘The One coming after me has surpassed me, because He existed before me.’ ”) Indeed, we have all received grace after grace from His fullness, for the law was given through Moses, grace and truth came through Jesus Christ. No one has ever seen God. The One and Only Son — the One who is at the Father’s side — He has revealed Him.” John 1:15‭-‬18 The Word, Jesus, Who tabernacle among us, was the One Whom John the Baptizer had spoke about when he said, “there is One Who will come after I do Who is greater than me because He existed (long) before me!” Before Jesus ever showed up, Jesus was, and John the Baptizer knew it! He was fully aware of Who Jesus was! Consequently, we have recieved GRACE UPON GRACE–POURING FROM THE ABUNDANCE OF WHO JESUS WAS AND WHAT JESUS DID FOR US! So much better is the pouring out of Grace through Jesus than the pouring out of condemnation from the Law, which was really only given as a measuring stick of how incomplete and incapable of please God we are without Jesus. Grace, on the other had was given to show us how complete we could be WITH JESUS! So Great was God’s grace that through it, we see God and what He’s like! Be beheld His glory. Great is His grace! Great id His glory! Think about it!
