2 Corinthians 4:7
Everyone wants to go on a treasure hunt? I do! One of my favorite movies is National Treasure! The idea of somehow obtaining a treasure is awesome.
This verse says that we have a Treasure-One that’s stored right here in our dust or earth-original, earthly bodies (Genesis 3:19, Psalm 103:14)! Our Tresure is the glory and truth that was vailed from the people as told in
2 Corinthians 3. Its that glory that is revealed by Holy Spirit! Its Jesus in the form of Holy Spirit, totally revealing God to and for us. HE IS OUR TREASURE, IN THIS EARTHLY BODY! Why?
“so that the surpassing greatness of the power will be of God and not from ourselves”! This is awesome! The greatness of God’s POWER, the greatness of God’s PRESENCE, the greatness of God’s WORD lives in us! BEST OF ALL, ITS HIS POWER, NOT OURS! Apart from Christ, I can do nothing. WITH CHRIST, I CAN DO ANYTHING! This is PRICELESS TREASURE! Think about it!
