“Who may ascend the mountain of the Lord? Who may stand in His holy place? The one who has clean hands and a pure heart, who has not set his mind on what is false, and who has not sworn deceitfully. He will receive blessing from the Lord , and righteousness from the God of his salvation. Such is the generation of those who seek Him, who seek the face of the God of Jacob. Selah” Psalms 24:3‭-‬6
Who may ascend to God’s mountain? Abraham did. Moses did. David did! Jesus did! Who can stand in His holy place? THE ONE WITH CLEAN HANDS, A PURE HEART! THE ONE WHO’S NOT FIXED THEIR MIND ON LIES AND WHO MAKES CONTRACTS AND PROMISES THEY DON’T INTEND ON KEEPING. That person’s blessing will be from God and his RIGHTEOUSNESS will come from the God Who saves him. This will be the norm for that generation!
The truth is that we have no righteousness in and of ourselves, so we desperately need to be touched by our righteous God, Whose repitation is to save! Because of Jesus, we can ascend to Jesus! Because of Jesus we can have clean hands and a pure heart. Because of Jesus, we can be part of a generation who constantly seeks Him. “For from Him and through Him and to Him are all things. To Him be the glory forever. Amen.”
