Romans 8:24-25 “Now in this hope we were saved, yet hope that is seen is not hope, because who hopes for what he sees? But if we hope for what we do not see, we eagerly wait for it with patience.” OLD THINGS HAVE PASSED AWAY-ALL THINGS BECOME NEW!”
“Now in this hope . .” What hope? That our heavenly adoption will be finalized one day, that God’s glory will completely shine through and on us-that we will one day have the perfection and paradise that Adam and Eve once enjoyed-IN THIS HOPE we
are now saved! Our hope is in our future with Christ! Most people hope in the past. THAT’S CRAZY, yet many people
find themselves living there as victims, as failures, with regrets . . . NOT ONCE does God ever say to hope in the past! HE ALWAYS says to hope in the future!
God promises each one of us A GREAT FUTURE, not a great past!
Paul tells us to FORGET the PAST – GOD HAS! (Philippians 3:14, Psalm 103:12)
Though we don’t see this future clearly yet, we hope in it cause God’s promised it to us! We wait for it with eagerness, with perseverance and patience! You have a future and a hope secured in Christ Jesus (Jeremiah 29:11) Make that your
reality today!
Think about it!
