“God has now revealed to us his mysterious will regarding Christ—which is to fulfill his own good plan. And this is the plan: At the right time he will bring everything together under the authority of Christ—everything in heaven and on earth.” Ephesians 1:9‭-‬10

NOW is a power-filled word! The epitome of present tense, it always represents the start of something new!

Paul is saying here that God had chosen the present time to set in motion His plan, which till now had been mysterious or hidden, to redeem mankind!

So think of it-God, Who constantly lives in present tense, because He’s INFINITE, planned, arranged for, then, when everything was ready, reached into a specific moment in time, sending Jesus to earth as man, yet still as 100% God, to live perfectly among us, then ultimately die on the cross as a perfect sacrifce that was punished for our sin! Jesus didn’t stay dead though! He victoriously rose from the dead, effectively reversing the ultimate punishment for sin, which was DEATH, on our behalf!

Paul is saying here that just like Jesus coming at just the right time, that also at just the RIGHT TIME, everything will come together under His authority, everything in Heaven and on earth, will together be ruled by King Jesus!

Sometimes it feels like God is not moving, especially on our behalf. Rest assured though, that He’s always at work, ON YOUR BEHALF, fulfilling His plan in and for you!

One thing is certain-it’s ALWAYS the right time to call out to Him and give your life to Him!
